There will also be a special event on that day which will come under the umbrella of the 12th Annual Maryland STEM Festival.
During the Spring and Summer Hive Dive we will do the following:
- Check on the hive.
- Check on the queen. Make sure she is laying new eggs. Hopefully spot her.
- Check on honey production. Give them more room to produce more honey and remove any frames that are capped off fully with honey.
- Check on the resources and overall numbers for the hive.
- Give the guests an overall perspective of what is going on in the hive, what the bees are doing, and details about their work.
- Correct any issues we spot.
